"If you can see, you can be it" is the Provo Girls Summit motto and I believe this applies to girls and women of all ages. Most of the examples of success, both in the corporate and entrepreneur worlds, are men and unless we show examples of successful women in those worlds, girls and women won't know the possibilities of what they can achieve in their career goals.
On March 19th, the third annual Provo Girls Summit will take place at the Provo City Library. It is a career exploration day for girls from the ages of 8-12. The idea is to connect girls to professional women in various fields ranging from tech and science, to art and education in a one-on-one setting. This allows girls to make new connections and imagine new possibilities for their future.
Registration for the event is free and will begin on March 5th. The event goes from 6-8pm on Thursday, March 19th. It is required that attendees are accompanied by an adult. You can also donate to the Summit by clicking here.
